WAYS TO HELP
WHY HELP?
The services of FOCUS have helped those in need in our community for many years. Now that we have combined our services under one roof, our collaborative efforts are more efficient. Our clients benefit by having to come to only one location to get assistance with food insecurity. Our vision is to have clients come to the FOCUS Neighborhood Meals portion of the new location for a good home-cooked meal, then stop by the FOCUS Food Pantry to pick up food for the family.
BECAUSE OF YOUR SUPPORT WE NOW:
SPONSOR WAYS TO HELP
FOCUS FOOD PANTRY
Sponsorship at the food pantry has traditionally come from local churches who provide volunteers on a weekly basis to sort foods, help with cleaning and gather foods for pickup by clients. The FOCUS Food Pantry welcomes individual volunteers, students who need to fulfill community volunteer hours, group volunteers and families who would like to volunteer together. Please contact the Operations Staff to learn more.
VOLUNTEER WAYS TO HELP
FOCUS FOOD PANTRY
At the FOCUS Food Pantry, we need help with processing incoming food donations, sorting food, sweeping and mopping food areas, and gathering foods to distribute to clients. Drivers are also needed to drive our van locally to make food pickups.

FOCUS NEIGHBORHOOD MEALS
FOCUS Neighborhood Meals offers a number of volunteer positions to choose from: meal coordinators, meal preparation, meal servers, to-go meals assembling, dishwashing, meal cleanup, closing the meal area once a meal is all complete, helping with the ODC towel exchange, and helping with inventory management.

FOCUS FAMILY BACKPACKS
The FOCUS Family Backpack program needs volunteers throughout the school year to assemble foods in backpacks for distribution on Fridays and gather up the empty backpacks on Monday.
